Announcing our Cortana Analytics speaker: Sivakumar Harinath (Siva) talk about  Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, Cortana Analytics and other great Microsoft goodies, and what they can do for you. Power BI is a SaaS service that allows anyone to easily explore and visualize their data and get insights. Cortana Analytics is a fully managed big data and advanced analytics suite that enables you to transform your data into intelligent action. In this talk you will see demos of visualizing data and getting insights via Power BI and the challenges of building a SaaS service at scale. Siva is a Principal Program Manager in the Microsoft Business Intelligence team. Siva has co-authored books in Analysis Services, PowerPivot for Excel and SharePoint.

Mohammad Ali is a Program Manager currently working on the Microsoft Power BI Team. He works with partners and  customers on delivering solution accelerators which leverage the Cortana Analytics suite. Mohammad previously worked as a data scientists for Microsoft Consulting Services where he focused on building predictive models for customers using Azure Machine Learning and R.


Justyna Lucznik is a Program Manager on the Power BI team. Justyna works on integrating advanced analytics functionality into the product, with a particular focus on R integration. She also works on customer PoCs which span across the entire Cortana Analytics stack. Prior to moving to Redmond, Justyna worked as a data science consultant in the UK Microsoft Consulting Services. She created machine learning models for customers in the financial and digital marketing sectors, utilizing Azure ML and R.
